Collecting Donations at a Funeral Service

Many families and friends choose to celebrate and respect the life of a loved one through asking for donations rather than floral tributes following a funeral service.

The Fiona Elsey Cancer Research Institute is grateful for any contribution in supporting our mission to advance the understanding and treatment of cancer by making an internationally recognised contribution to cancer research.

We very much appreciate the trust of our community. It is only through this generous support that our Institute can continue to Fight Cancer Through Research.

Funeral directors will often help collect donations by contacting us to supply special donation envelopes that will be available at a memorial service. Alternatively, these can be directly sent to a family member. A receipt will be sent to every person that donates in honour of your loved one. A letter will be sent to the family listing the names of those that chose to donate in memory.
